Ra's Cascade

5×4 tumbling grid · 8+ matching symbols anywhere to win · expanding wilds & a climbing cascade multiplier

Place a bet and spin the reels.

Sun Disc (Wild): substitutes for any paying symbol — and the instant one lands, its entire column expands to wild. Pyramid (Scatter): 3 / 4 / 5+ anywhere on the grid → 8 / 12 / 16 Free Spins. Every cascade in a chain raises that spin's multiplier by 1x — it doesn't reset between Free Spins, so a long round keeps climbing for as long as it keeps tumbling.

Ra's Cascade — A Second Tumbling Slot, Built Differently From The First

The Ruby Table already runs one tumbling-grid slot; Ra's Cascade isn't a reskin of it. The grid is a different shape, the win threshold is different, the wild behaves completely differently, and the multiplier is earned automatically rather than landed as its own symbol. It shares a genre — cascading wins instead of fixed paylines — with a distinct ruleset underneath.

The Grid: 5×4 Instead Of 6×5

Ra's Cascade uses a smaller 20-position board — 5 columns, 4 rows — with wins starting at 5 matching symbols landing anywhere on it, not just in a line. When a cluster of 8 or more pays out, those symbols clear, the column above collapses down to fill the gap, and new symbols drop in from the top. If that refill creates another qualifying cluster, it pays again, chaining until a refill produces no new match.

Expanding Sun Disc Wilds

Instead of a value-carrying orb symbol, Ra's Cascade uses a classic slot mechanic built around a wild that substitutes for any paying symbol — Lotus, Scarab, Canopic Jar, Ankh, Eye of Horus, or Pharaoh Mask. The twist is what happens the moment a Sun Disc lands: its entire column instantly turns wild, top to bottom, before wins are evaluated. One lucky landing can turn up to a quarter of the board wild in a single tumble.

A Multiplier That's Earned, Not Landed

There's no multiplier symbol to watch for here. Every spin starts at a 1x multiplier, and every successive cascade within that spin's chain — the second tumble, the third, and so on — adds another 1x on top for the wins it produces. A spin that only tumbles once pays at 1x; one that chains five times in a row pays its later tumbles at 4x or 5x. During Free Spins, that multiplier carries forward instead of resetting at the start of each new spin, so a Free Spins round with several long chains back to back can end at a genuinely high number.

The Pyramid scatter triggers the bonus: 3, 4, or 5+ scatters anywhere on the grid award 8, 12, or 16 Free Spins respectively, and landing 3 or more scatters again during the round retriggers it for 4 more spins without touching the multiplier that's already built up.

Why It's Worth Trying Both

If you've already spent time on The Ruby Table's other tumbling slot, Ra's Cascade is a useful comparison point for how differently two cascading-grid games can play once you change the win threshold, the wild's behavior, and how the multiplier is earned. As with every game on the site, it's a free-play simulation only — 1,000 demo credits to start, resettable any time, no purchase or real-money wagering involved anywhere.
